Pricing guide
How we price the singles we sell, and what we pay for the cards we buy. We follow published market prices so you can check any card yourself.
Magic: The Gathering
Prices are based on Face to Face Games, which we find the most accurate and consistent source for singles.
Minimum prices: $1.00 for rares and mythics, $0.75 for foils and $0.50 for commons and uncommons. Only a card’s condition can bring it below these.
Buying from us
- We look up the exact printing on Face to Face Games.
- If Face to Face has it in stock, our price is 20% below theirs. If it’s out of stock there, our price matches theirs.
- We use Face to Face’s regular price, not sale prices.
- Cards in a language other than English or Phyrexian are 50% off.

Selling to us
We start from the same price we’d sell the card for, then take a percentage off depending on how you’d like to be paid:

Example: a near-mint card listed at $10.00 and in stock on Face to Face is $8.00 at our store. We’d buy it for $5.60 in store credit or $3.20 cash.
Pokémon
Prices are based on Face to Face Games. The minimum price for any Pokémon single is $1.00.
We carry ex, VMAX and Mega cards, illustration rares and full-art trainer cards.
Buying from us
- We look up the exact printing on Face to Face Games.
- If Face to Face has it in stock, our price is 20% below theirs. If it’s out of stock there, our price matches theirs.
- We use Face to Face’s regular price, not sale prices.

Union Arena
We carry up to four copies each of:
- SR rarity cards
- Regular alternate-art cards
- Rare Battle prize cards (winner and non-stamped)
- Release Event prize cards (winner only)
- Regular cards (not promo or release-stamped) worth $5.00 or more on Collectr
Buying from us
- We use the Canadian prices on Collectr, which update most often.
- Cards on hold keep the price from the day they were put on hold, even if the market changes before you pick them up.
- SR cards are at least $1.00 plus tax. All other cards are the listed Collectr price plus tax.
Selling to us
We match the Collectr price on the day you ask, with a $1.00 minimum for SR cards.
